Disaster and Recovery Program
Bigfoot Asia Pacific Foundation has actively responded to calls for relief and recovery during disasters, calamities and other social concerns that need immediate action.
During the SARS (severe acute respiratory syndrome) outbreak in Asia, Bigfoot Foundation worked with the Cebu City government to boost SARS preparedness by producing Anti-SARS information and educational materials as well as donated radio communication equipment to the Emergency Rescue Unit group.
Bigfoot Foundation quickly responded to calls of relief for the typhoon victims of Quezon province in 2004, landslide victims of St. Bernard in Southern Leyte in 2006 and victims of typhoon Frank in 2008 in Cebu province.
