Bigfoot Teachers Training Centers
With its partnership with the Department of Education (DepEd), Bigfoot Asia Pacific Foundation has boosted the computer and IT training of teachers by putting up two training centers, one in the province and one in Cebu City. The foundation has channeled over USD 100,000 in 2005 to provide hardware and software for the computer training rooms for the use of Cebu province and Cebu City divisions of DepEd.
In 2006, Bigfoot Foundation set up four (4) more teacher training centers costing USD 122,000 in Cebu province which has made it easy for teachers in far flung areas to avail of the educational program. These are located in Bogo in the north; Alcoy in the south; Dumanjug in the east and Balamban in the west side of Cebu province.
